After a long-winded campaign, the candidates can take a breather, afford to smile and wait for the decision of the electorate. It has been one grueling campaign that is for sure. The televised debates were riveting and the personal attacks and jibes exchanged were interesting. Policy issues and clear stands have been conveyed by them to the public. The rhetoric has reached sky high in the last few days and the line of tolerance has been breached quite a few times.
And then Sandy came about to add twist to the electoral storm. The incumbent left the trial for a few days to take care of the country, but he came back with a fiery campaign.

For starters, we should go to the poll booth. Weigh the positives and negatives and make an informed decision.
Election Day is the first day of democracy in a democratic country. We are given the right to choose our own destiny and we should respect that right and exercise that right. Vote for whom you think can rule us better and not for the one whom you think is charismatic or speaks good.
Don’t show favoritism for non issues like hairstyle or personal characteristics, but for the policy.
When the results are announced the candidate doesn’t remain a candidate but your choice of President of United States of America.
Remember… You are not only choosing your own destiny but are influencing the destiny of your fellow citizens when you make a choice.
Be responsible and do the right thing. Queue up and do your bidding. It is time for a new dawn and may the days ahead bring in a leader who will lead us well.
God Bless, America!
