Thanksgiving Celebrations!

How thankful we are for what we are at this moment?

We all aspire to be something or another in life. We would like to be successful and be the best among the best or the first among equals.

We want to achieve our goals in record time. We want our family, our dear and near ones to be rich and healthy.

The bottom line is that we want this or we want that…

Have we ever been content with what we got?

Have we ever been thankful for what we have today… At this moment?

Never.

That’s the problem. Not only the aspiration to become something makes us less happy, but also less thankful.

True. Everyone has to aspire, but everyone should be happy for what they have achieved till now too. That’s the point.

Maybe that’s the reason why there is an event called Thanksgiving every year.

Visiting the church has become a Sunday phenomenon rather than an everyday duty. And then, it has become festivals only visit to some. Even then, most of us are looking toward the exit. We believe we know too much to partake in the prayers or the choir.

The more we think we know the less we know.

Next time, you visit the church don’t ask for this and that from God. He will give you if your actions are worth it. Good begets good and bad begets bad.

Good begets good and bad begets bad.

On a good day, I would request you to be thankful and be so by thanking the ones who have made your life worth living.

Let me practice what I preach…

I am thankful to you guys for making my life worth living.

The reason for a crease in my smile is all because of you.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
