World This Week!

We just commemorated in silence and paid respect to the 9/11 victims and then Ayman al-Zawahiri decides to pour venom. He urges his followers to strike The United States of America again and in his own words, “Land a large strike!”

I wonder how his life would be if his everyday life is to run, hide, then like a coward expect others to strike a democratic country with innocent people. I am yet to see these terrorists ask for an open war with our military forces.

Try that guys, next time, will you?

A man and the brand is a study everyone in the tech world is busy talking about. Well, yes it is about Steve Jobs and Apple itself.

Apple, famed for its innovation and game changing gadgets, is right now introducing multi-colored cases for the phones, etc, which are hardly game changing.

Long story short, the tech world misses Steve Jobs!

Mr. Putin, the Russian Premier, has penned an Op-Ed piece for The New York Times. His intent is to avoid military intervention in Syria by the American forces and therefore, he is reaching out to the American people directly arguing his case. Kudos to him for reaching out at least, although his gesture looks circumspect.

Nice!

International diplomacy has come a long way and definitely, we have come a long way from Cold War times. It is a gesture that has bemused, found admirers and of course, critics.

Say what you may, but this macho guy is not walking quietly in the sunset. He is making his presence known.

Talking about Syria, well, there seems to be some sort of light at the end of the tunnel. The Syrian government says that it is agreeable to give up all its chemical weapons.

And Russia seems to have a plan to avert military intervention and US is listening to the same. Foes are turning friends and the prognosis looks good.

Let’s pray.
