How are you all doing? Hope you had an amazing weekend! I had one. And it’s nice to share the happiness. Sometimes we tend to be modest and don’t share our successes with others. That’s a mistake. You never know how many would be inspired by it. Even failures inspire. Yes, it does. Ask a friend who learnt something from your mistakes and you will understand the reason to share your success and failures. That said, come on, let’s take a stroll together and visit the events of the week.

Everyone has a dream. Dare to dream is the popular saying. The power of dreams is infinitely profound. Only when you dream would you be able to realize that dream in real life. If you dream to achieve something, you tend to work towards it. It is the initiation of a journey towards your goal.
I dream big too just like you. No dream is impossible to realize. And to dream is personal. No inhibitions please. Don’t tinker with it. Don’t doubt it. Believe it.

Thank You Cards [Jan 11]
A day for gratitude – Thank You Cards. Sending a greeting card takes a new meaning on this day. If you ever need a reason to send a card this is the best one. To say thanks to the ones who have made your life worth living and who make you smile. It is a gesture that will give you immense satisfaction and will make the receiver feel really special.
Everyone has a friend who is a Secret Pal. Yes, it could be that individual whom you are close to, but not many are aware of or it could be that person who is obvious to everyone as your friend, but remains your confidant and a 3 a.m. friend. All the same, they need to be treated with utmost respect and on such a day like Secret Pal Day send them a card and make them smile.
Aaliyah’s birthday falls on a holiday and I am doubly happy as both of us can spend as much time with each other as possible. Birthdays are beautiful. It is one event where the whole festival is all about ‘You.’ Everyone has this special day in their life that is celebrated just for them. No discrimination, rich or poor, religion or no religion you are blessed with your birthday.
And Aaliyah is no different. She expects my time and not anything else, but I invariably gift her something or another and make her feel great. Well, it goes without saying that this has to be done by default. Never miss a birthday of a loved one and if you have to for some important reason, then send a card. If you are to celebrate with your presence on their special day, send a card. Either way, a birthday greeting card will add zing to their good day.
Talking about Aaliyah can love be far behind? It is a beautiful feeling. It doesn’t need a day or time. It is just there. It is everywhere. It is in the eyes and the heart. It is in the smile of a child. It is in the roses that bloom.
It is the oxygen that the world runs on.
Love is all we have.
