Thank A Veteran Today!

My Dear Brothers, Sisters and Friends,

Come on now, let’s take a look at what’s there on the menu this week…

Forget Me Not Day [Nov 10]

You know what’s my biggest fear is?
It’s not the ghosts, reptiles or heights, but the fear of my friends and dear ones ignoring me. I mean, I don’t want them to remove me from their ‘good friend’ list. I want everyone who is close to me to think of me once a day or at least once in two days.

Maybe that’s the reason I send a Newsletter out every week and write two blogs a week to be in touch with you so that you don’t forget!

Love shouldn’t be forced, but that doesn’t mean it should never be showed. You got to remember the good days and moments spent with your dear and near ones and should always give them a buzz when you find time.

Forget Me Not Day is as good a day as any to do jus’ that.
Tell them, you remember!

Veterans Day [Nov 11]

Myself, Steve, Megan, Aaliyah, Kate and Kong ganged up together and went shopping for flowers. All of them beautiful bouquets. We pinned a Thank You note to them. Then we browsed the list of Veterans that we had gathered and visited them at their houses and the one’s at the Veteran’s Hospital.

What a day! Wished them all on this day and found them smiling when we gave them the flowers. It was a simple gesture to the souls that protect us day in and day out.

Respect and gratitude to them.

Show them you care and that you are thankful by sending them our Veterans Day ecards.

Family

Sent out cards to all in my family. Missed no one. Holiday season has started and I started sending out ecards wishing them in advance and also chalking out plans for our visits during the festive season.

Exciting times these are. It is that time of the year when everyone feels happy no matter what! And I loved the responses as well from my family. Every greeting card got a reply. It was fun to receive so many mails with plans and wishes. I am so looking forward to the holidays… I hope you are too!

Inspiration

I don’t go looking for inspiration anymore. I get them hand delivered to my Inbox. The comments you send me, be it a loving pat or a critique, love it all. It urges me to write to you and I feel so glad to be talking to you about my life that revolves around my friends. I hope you find inspiration too in my anecdotes and learn from my mistakes.

On the way out, I would like to say this… Do visit Editor Bob’s Blog (Mondays and Thursdays) and leave a comment there too. I would like that.
